Welcome to BANYULE BLAST!

 

Banyule Cricket Club's Cricket Blast Program is back for season 2022/23 and is also back home!

 

After relocating last season due to the exciting redevelopment of Beverley Road Oval, our program returns to our home ground for another summer of exciting cricket fun!

 

Our Banyule Blast program, formally Milo in2cricket/T20 Blast, is one of the longest running and most popular in the northern region of Melbourne. This is a reflection of our focus on making cricket a fun and positive experience for our youngest cricketers, whilst providing them with a great beginning in developing the skills of the game.

 

Our program runs every Saturday morning from 9am-10.30am, starting on October 21st. We take a break over the Christmas holidays, resuming on Saturday February 3rd and finishing for the season on February 24th. 

 

This season we will be offering two Blast sessions during the January school holidays at no cost to existing Blast participants. Further details will be available in the coming weeks.

Coaching 

Our coaches are recruited from the talented junior players from our club, with a mix of our U14s and U16s, most of who have progressed through our Blast program in previous years. All have Working with Children accreditation and have completed Level 1 cricket coaches training. An essential part of our program is the involvement of parents,

 

Girls Cricket

Banyule CC has a strong focus on being a welcoming and safe environment for all aspiring young cricketers, which has been exemplified in our growing Female Cricket Program. Our U14 Girls Team has enjoyed a wonderful two seasons in the DVCA competition and we are excited to continue to expand our female cricket pathway through the appointment a specialist girls coach to work with our superstar girls playing Cricket Blast.

Term 1 2024 Cricket Blast program

Registrations have opened for our Term 1 Blast program in PlayHQ.

Have set the pricing at $45 for the 4 week program.

We start this Saturday (20/1/2024) with a free school holiday session that will hopefully drag a few new regos in.

The term 1 program starts on Feb 3 & runs until Feb 27.
